The scaffolding has at least two vertical side protection posts (1). A rail beam (4) and an intermediate beam are arranged between the posts as a tubular profile. The posts are connected below the intermediate beam with a boarding (7) for the working area (6). The rail beam is provided with a horizontal camber in the direction of the working area by using a tensioning device (8).
