The screw connection comprises a threaded bolt (7) connected rotationally secured to a component part (4) and passing through a fixing bore (13) in the other part. A nut screwed onto the end of the bolt has radial dimensions smaller than the diameter of the bore (13). On the bolt between the nut (10) and the part (4) being fixed is an expanding ring (9) with an axial slit (12). In the non-expanded state the ring is wider than the bore so that when pushing the untightened nut and ring on the bolt through the bore the ring springs into the bore. when covering the bore edge the nut engages in the ring to spread this out when tightened so that the outer contour of the ring runs onto the bore edge and clamps the two component parts together.
