The sole joint line of the casing (10) is horizontal. In the halves there are bearings for shafts of the reduction train (1, 6, 7). In addition there are two mounting bores, each containing a mounting assembly (30, 31) holding bearings for the first drive shaft (2) and the power return train (3, 4). Preferred features: Each mounting assembly (30, 31) is divided in the horizontal joint plane of the casing, into two separable, connected halves, and is located in the casing on one or more pegs (33).
