The system is designed so that at least one electronically controllable drive is arranged outside the door panel and in a chamber at the closed side of the door, and is connected with a bolt over a plunger. The plunger extends across nearly the entire door height, and is arranged horizontally movable in a slot of locking profiles at the endfaces of the door panel facing itself and the chamber connecting it. The drive can be driven by an electric motor, or solenoid, or pneumatic cylinder or hydraulic cylinder or a liner motor.
