The method involves evaluating the visible traces of a deliberately caused light contusion on an individually selected area of the patient's tissue with respect to size and/or intensity of the colouring and/or the decay duration. The impulse required for the contusion is produced from the drop height of a small body in the form of a cylindrical piston (1), hammer or ball or similar. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for implementing the method.
