The heating pipe arrangement acts as heat transmitter for power modulation of firing/heating. It involves solid, liquid and/or gas-form fuel and operation at different power levels. The combustion chamber comprises a first heat transmission zone in which the burner functions. Combustion occurs in the one-sidedly closed, preferably tubular combustion chamber insert (10). Flue gases from the combustion flow between the combustion chamber insert and the ribbed combustion chamber walls (11) into the flue gas conduit (16). In this way, the flue gases emit heat to the combustion chamber walls. The walls are cooled by the fluid heat carrier (2), which flows through the combustion chamber. Into the first heat transmission zone the fluid heat carrier enters via a connnecting conduit (12) from the second heat transmission zone and out through the outlet (15), at which the carrier reaches its highest temperature. The second heat transmission zone is a water bath (7).
