This method makes use of generated gauge heads (1) and allocates to them additional characteristics in further processing stages. These characteristics allow elemental transmission test sections (ETTS) (2) and elemental transmissions (3) to be allocated to individual, elemental gauge heads. Operating stages needed for this include detection of signals to form ETTS, tracking such ETTS to form elemental transmissions and processing result information.
