The frame (1) of the sieve (14) can adjust between horizontal and inclined settings relative the undercarriage (10) round an horizontal axis (56), the undercarriage joined to the frame edge solely by an arrestable arcuately slotted link (58) concentric to the axis (56). The L-shaped undercarriage legs (24,26) reach down to the ground via their vertical (28,30) and horizontal (32,34) legs and the frame (12) presents an open U-shape of endwall (16) and two sidewalls (18,20) to enclose a housing (50) along one sidewall to take the motor. The sieve itself (14) is composed of wiremesh in a rectangular surrouind (62,64,66), using angle profiles as legs to grip over and under the sieve surface. The slotted link is traveled by a clamp screw (60) in the sidewalls to clamp the sieve in the required position along the vertical legs (28,30). The motor uses a belt drive to turn a camshaft offset in parallel which is joined to one edge (66) of the sieve and so vibrate this vertically.
