The clamping frame (3) for vehicle parts, especially the side bodywork sections in automobile prodn., has mounting plates (8) moved against limit stops (7) of a frame in the welding station. The mounting plates (8) are clamped (9) against the limit stops. Each mounting plate (8) has a threaded spindle (14) which screws into a threaded section (13) to engage the clamp (9) at the end of the spindle (14) away from the limit stop (7) for a fine adjustment.
