The method involves generating control parameters (usqref,usdref) for the longitudinal or transverse voltage. to represent the flux- generating current and the torque-generating current for field-oriented regulation of three-phase machines taking into account the stator voltage drop and the main field voltage. The main field voltage is computed on the basis of demand parameters for the flux- generating current and the torque-generating currents. An Independent claim is also included for a method of determining the rotor circuit frequency of a field-oriented regulated asynchronous machine.
