The tool fitted with blades, for milling actions on materials which do not form chips but which give a high friction on the working surfaces, has a shaft (1) which rotates round its longitudinal axis (2) in a release mounting at a drive. The free end (6) of the shaft (1) is fitted with axial grooved recesses (7) and a flat cutting blade (8). The leading side of the blade (8), in the advance movement direction (9), has a non-cutting blade edge (12). The blade (8) is of steel, with a cladding (15) on the leading side (11) of a hard material which can incorporate metal compounds or alloys.
