The part to be fixed which engages on the outside over a circumferential edge (9) of a recess in the outer body panel passes through the recess with a profiled area (6) which has flat or curved clamping faces (7, 8) facing the inside of the outer panel (3). The clamping faces form inclined planes so that clamping bodies (10, 11) can be tensioned between the clamping faces and the edge area (9). Tension devices for moving the clamping bodies parallel to the inside of the outer panel engage on same and are operable parallel to the inside of the outer panel. The clamping bodies can be clamping wedges supported directly on the inside of the outer panel whereby the tension devices contain threaded bolts aligned parallel to the direction of movement of same and parallel to the inside of the outer panel.
