Two-person airbag device for automobile passenger restraint has airbag sack divided into 2 chambers coupled via flow path by sewn seam extending in curve between one longitudinal edge and sack center point
Airbag device has elongate airbag sack (14), which is divided into 2 adjacent chambers (15,16) via sewn seam (23) between successive airbag sack layers. Seam extends inwards from one airbag sack longitudinal edge in curved path leading to center point of airbag sack, at which seam is formed into circle, to leave flow path between center of airbag sack and opposite longitudinal edge, for successive inflation of chambers via single gas generator.
