The device has a measurement head (4) with at least one sensor for detecting specific properties for the electrical device (1,2) and a computer (5) connected to the measurement head for processing and storing the signals from the measurement head and for outputting the relevant data. The measuring head includes sensors which measure: (1) the current value; (2) the electrical field; (3) the magnetic field; (4) the brightness; (5) the acoustic influences; (6) the color temperature; (7) the climatic influences; (8) the vibrations from the work place; (9) the screen refresh frequency; (10) the picture geometry; (11) changes in the picture position and picture size; and (12) the uniformity of the gray value reproduction.
