The hand saw has a U-shaped yoke (2) holding the saw blade (4) which is fitted by slit tension bolts (11,12) and holding pins (13, 14) engaging therein. The bolts are each supported on the yoke and tension lever (5) on the sides remote from the blade through a tension sleeve attached adjustable on same and through a displaceable coupling disc. The holding pins which engage in the bolts and saw blade are held on the bolts for swivel movement by leaf springs . The tension sleeves are mounted rotationally secured on the tension bolts through interacting recesses and multi-angled edge surfaces.
