The shell element is a shell plate consisting of composite layered and/or strip-form materials. The cross sectional loss conditioned by the structure lies at 35 per cent plus or minus 10 ten cent of the cross sectional area. The shell plate's material layer lying on the shuttering supports(41-43) has a greater flexural elasticity in the longitudinal direction than in the transverse direction. The shell plate may be multi-layered with a minimum thickness of 35 per cent plus or minus 10 ten cent of the overall wall thickness.
