The method involves using electronic measurement devices to detect the measurement parameters of the drying process and a microprocessor for their evaluation and for control of the drying process depending on the measured parameters. In addition to the known measurement parameters and equipment-specific characteristic data at the start of drying, a further measurement parameter is measured during the process, i.e. the time to reach a specified boundary value, e.g. the resistance/conductance of the wash, or a voltage derived from it.
