Tubes (5) of a drainage system (6) are connected via valves or slides (7) to the compressed air feedlines (3,4). The openings of all valves etc are closed in their load-transporting working phase and all system tubes are cleaned out by feeding compressed air into the feedlines (3) with valves (7) open to clear impure stale air out to the drainage tubes (5,6) with their connected collector (8). Impurities can otherwise be ported to atmosphere. Cleaning phase is at lower pressure than transport duty and can be carried out with the aid of sensors used to sequence the valve switching.
