The crank support stabiliser is set at right angles below the support and the support foot is placed on the stabiliser baseplate and the caravan etc thus lined up in the horizontal. The chain is hooked to the support at 45 deg and turnbuckled tight to further stabilise the caravan etc in the transverse direction. The stabilisers should be installed in pairs and tensioned opposite ways respectively, so turnbuckle chain and hook withstand a pull of 150 kg.
