Device comprises two reflectors for use with ultrasonic transducers. The reflectors are placed in the measurement chamber at different distances from the transducers. Switching on or off of fluid movement through the measurement chamber is controlled using a valve connected to atmosphere with operation condition dependent. The measurement process depends on whether the reflector surfaces are covered by fluid or not. According to measurements of flow times and ultrasonic echo impulse amplitudes the following physical parameters are determined: density, ultrasound velocity, compressibility and viscosity. Similarly any changes in the parameters can be determined.
