At an early stage an installer frame (3) composd of top, bottom and sides (4) is fixed in the building (1) in the opening to be closed and finally plastered into place (10). Next comes the house door frame of top, sides and bottom lintel to be fixed in the installer frame (3). Before the frame (3) is finalized, the door frame itself (14) has to be fixed in the installer frame releasably and then removed for re-use. To fix the installer frame (3) in the building, use is made of temporary fixers (8) which are anchored in holes (9) drilled into the building (1) so the door frame can be finally installed in frame (3) and made fast by permanent fixers. The threshold lintel is cast into the bottom part of the installer frame (3).
