The mounting comprises a holder which with the warning triangle fitted in it forms an assembly unit. Two or more spring snap-in elements(11) are located on the back side of the holder for assembly purposes, and may be constructed on spigots fastened in the rear wall(4) of the holder. The snap-in elements each have a pair of locking noses of which at least one is sprung. An Independent claim is included for a procedure for fitting of collapsible warning triangle to the wall of a motor vehicle in which a holder with warning triangle fitted in it is clipped as a unit into openings in the wall of the vehicle corresponding to the locking elements.
