Microfluidic microchip has a channel structure integrated on a carrier which is formed bent of folded in a region having a channel section. An Independent claim is also included for a process for the production of a microfluidic microchip comprising forming the carrier by material removal or application using hot pressing, laser ablation or micro-injection.
