The seat has a sleeve element which in addition to the guiding function for the in and out movement of the headrest is constructed with a guiding function for the movement of the headrest when the active headrest system is activated. The sleeve element has a sleeve section(1) for guiding of the headrest support rod and a guide section(6) especially on the outer side of the sleeve section for guiding of the sleeve element in a guide in the seat back and the progression of which predetermines the movement of the sleeve element during action of the active headrest system on the headrest in the event of an accident.
