A cooling or freezing apparatus has an inner container and an apparatus door (4) plus a depository (16-26) for cold goods that can be arranged with storage devices in a guide track (28) and can be displaced laterally in the guide track. For the attainment of the lateral displacement ability, the guide track for the depository is designed as wave-shaped along its guide path. The storage devices of the depository are matched correspondingly to this corrugated guide route. The wave-shaped guide path is implemented by semicircular mountings and rectangular mountings. The guide path is located on a wall of the inner container and/or on an inner side (2) of the apparatus door.
