The double axle chain conveyor drive with double roller chain (1) and synchronised drive for lifting long workpieces and moving them forwards in stages has a transport carriage (2) and a workpiece carrier (6) fitted with a chain wheel (12), eccentric disk (7) with two cams, friction disk with a slot, a guide groove and a connecting device (3) for lifting. By operating the chain unloaded the direction of motion of the carriage is turned through 180 deg .
