Injection molding process for brushes, especially toothbrushes, in which bristle bundle ends are fused together prior to location in a brush molding tool

Two or more bristle bundles (12) are melted at the fastening ends to form a unit, located in a cavity of a brush molding tool (2) and embedded in a plastic melt injected into the cavity to form a brush head. An Independent claim is made for an injection molding tool (2) for the toothbrush manufacture which has channels (14) for holding bristles bundles (12). The channels are aligned towards each other so that the bristle bundles meet each other.
