The system has a mirror device (1) arranged in the light path of a camera (5) for stopping the image points of excessively bright image parts from a number of electrically controlled mirror sub-surfaces. The stopping of stopped image points is removed for short time periods to enable measurement of their intensity. The stopping can be removed for individual points in succession.
