The device has a pump rotor and a turbine rotor (34) with fluid exchange section (34a) and hub section (34b), connected to a drive element. The two sections are connected via an overrunning unit (46), which permits relative turning of the sections in one direction only. A bridging coupling (70) has a coupling element (72) connected to the hub section via a torsion vibration damper. The fluid exchange section has a turbine rotor shell (36) held axially and/or radially on the hub section via pref. slide bearings (52).
