The apparatus. for the conditioning of gases, for cabin air, has at least one membrane module to give an oxygen enrichment (3). It has oxygen permeation membranes to pass a gas through which contains oxygen, and lead off the permeates (17) alone. The membrane module (3) is a wood fiber module. The oxygen permeation membrane is a symmetrical or asymmetrical phase inversion membrane or a composite membrane. A gas channel (15) is at the side of the retained material for a gas backflow. At least one compressor (1) is in front of the membrane module (3), for oxygen enrichment through a filter (2), so that the compressed air for the oxygen is filtered before entering the membrane module. The gas flow is controlled by a control circuit including valves (4), sensors and control units. The gas is air. At least one gas flow for oxygen enrichment is passed through a membrane module with oxygen permeation membranes, and mixed. The moisture content is controlled by adding moisture, or drying in a condensation stage.
