The system incorporates a lubricant container connected to an oil sump (12) of the engine (10). The container is located in a maintenance module (3), which is fastened detachable to the vehicle. All connections for the module are quick-action connections. The module contains an oil filter and a fuel filter. The system is a dry sump lubricating system, with a feed pipe (5) for clean oil between engine and oil container. The oil sump acts as collection vessel for the oil coming from the engine, and a return pipe (6) returns the oil from oil sump to container.
