An aerosol generation unit (1) for inhalation therapies, comprising a membrane aerosol generator (2) with an oscillator (23), a mixing chamber (3), and an exhalation valve (32), is new. The valve allows patient's exhaled air to enter into the surroundings, but prevents direct entry of external air into the mixing chamber during the inhaling phase.
