The reverser valves are actuated by a roller lever (7) held in the cylinder head extension to form a force link between camshaft (8a) cams (11a,11b) and reverser valve shaft (6a). A gas change channel (13) feeds combustion air from cylinder head (3) to the head extension (4) via screw head (2a) and so out along the longitudinal walls (12) of the extension (4). The channel (13) is integrated in the head extension (4) by means of a co-operating manifold (10).
