A twin-axle vehicle has four wheels (11a-11d). Each wheel has a wheel sensor (12a-12d) to transmit wheel RPM levels to an evaluating device (16). An index shows how levels relate to front and rear axles. Each wheel has wheel brakes (13a-13d) whose braking force through pipes (15a-15d) is controlled by signals through the evaluating device. The force of a driver-operated brake pedal (17) is fed to the evaluating device with the corresponding sensor.
