The building which can be a house has in a section (22, 23) of the foundation (12) and/or walls (18) which stand in direct contact with the ground an observation window (26, 28) to view the natural habitat. The observation window can be incorporated in a cellar or basement. The window is not to be opened but is transparent for the human eye
