Housing for automotive hydrodynamic torque converter or fluid clutch (70) forms a link between the housing and a turbine wheel (24). Housing (12) has a shell (14) with a cover element (44) to which one part of the clutch counter-pressure plate (60) is attached. Housing shell (14) with the cover (44) forms a first fluid passage (52) which leads to a radial centre section of the housing (12) from a radial sector of the pressure plate (60).
