The ball joint has a ball journal (2) mounted for swivel and rotary movement in a housing (1) where a sealing bellows (3) fits securely in between with one edge (3.1) against the housing and the other edge (3.2) against the ball journal. The sleeve area (3.3) between the two edges has spherical outer contour and is divided circumferentially into an upper part (3.4) and a lower part (3.5) A ring (6.1,6.2) of plastics, ceramic or metal is provided where the upper part of the sealing bellows bears against the lower part.
