The prefabricated part has a convex curved upper edge (5) and the prefabricated part lying above same has a concave curved lower edge (4). A sealing layer is provided between the old wall and the prefabricated parts and an elastomer plate (1) is inserted which has a recess to take a spike (2) projecting out from the upper edge of the prefabricated part by less than the thickness of the elastomer plate. The elastomer plate can have variable thickness so that by changing the gap height it is possible to compensate for the manufacturing tolerances between the dimensions of adjoining parts.
