Domestic installation has feed and return connections (12,14) for heat carrier medium for room heating device (44) and heat exchanger (16) for heating drinking water, with regulator (18) controlling flow through room heating circuit (20) and drinking water heating circuit and differential pressure regulator (24) for maintaining required pressure difference between feed and return connections. The differential pressure regulator is suppled with a control pressure obtained from the pressure variation within a throttle device (26) for the heat carrier medium.
