An acceleration test for testing the loading capacity of a corrugated cardboard box (1) is carried-out. The corrugated cardboard box filled with packaging goods (4) is placed on a conveyor belt (10) in the end region of a conveyance device (8) and subjected to a defined positive and/or negative acceleration. An Independent claim is also included for a secondary packaging loading capacity testing device.
