The fall safety device has a safety cable designed as a dynamic cable, which is joined indirectly to a stop device, by at least one of its ends. The safety cable (DS) is designed as a dynamic cable. On at least one of its ends it is joined indirectly with a stop device (AM), and leads from a first fixture point (UP) along the pylon or mast (M) to a stop point (AP) on the pylon or mast or a device connected to the pylon or mast. A connection with the safety cable (DS) is such that a sudden inadvertent vertical downward slide of the connection device (VM), on the safety cable, by the worker is only possible along a short cable-piece.
