The device has a nozzle body (1) with bore (22), a swirl body (2) with channels (3,4), and a clamp screw (9). Some or all of the swirl channels are connected via bores (17,18) to a cylinder (6) containing a piston (7). Movement of the piston opens and closes the bores. The cylinder is positioned within or upstream of the swirl body. The piston is pressed into its upper dead center position by a pressure spring (8) located above it. The spring force is arranged, so that the piston executes a stroke movement when the fluid pressure changes by more than 0,2bar.
