The insect-proof door has a door-leaf frame (12) consisting of frame pieces (16,18) composed of hollow profiled strips and pivot mounted on a fixed stop-frame (10). The door-leaf frame is joined to the stop-frame by means of a pull-element (30) which is elastically stretched when the door is opened. The pull-element is pulled out of a hollow compartment (20) in the automatically closing door-leaf frame or stop-frame.
