Device for pulling flexible printing formes on to a plate cylinder where the pressure applied by the pressure roller (3) can be varied in a path dependent manner. Thus the pressure on the edge of the forme is less that in the middle. This is achieved using axle journals on the pressure roller outside their pressure roller bearings (31a, 31b) so that they can be acted on with adjustable pressure (F1, F2). An independent claim is made for a method for pulling through flexible print formes.
