An optionally filled mortar hardening by heat-initiated frontal polymerisation contains (A) a polymerizable monomer and/or hardenable resin and (B) a polymerisation initiator and/or hardening accelerator activated at above 30[deg]C or released by heating, with (A) and (B) being such that the polymerisation front moves at =10 cm/minute.
