In the production of a construction element with an outer casing and an inner casing made from lightweight material, produced from a base material and binder, and a core made from a filling structural material, e.g. concrete or similar material, the outer and inner casings are made by mixing hollow aluminum silicate beads and an epoxide and/or polyester resin and baking at about 200 deg C. An Independent claim is also included for the building element.
