The cylindrical bale transporter and unroller has spikes (11a, 15a) mounted on either side of an outrigger (9, 10) to hold the bale. These are made up of several sections and can be spread. Independent claims are included for; (a) a transporter as above in which the mountings for the spikes can be moved towards and away from each other; and (b) a transporter as above in which cutters (22) are fitted to the spikes and can be adjusted to cut the bale.
