Graft copolymer useful as blend component for modifying performance characteristics of molding composition, comprises polyamine and polyamide-forming monomers

A graft copolymer consists of 0.5-25 wt.% polyamine, and an equimolar combination of diamine and dicarboxylic acid as polyamide-forming monomers. The polyamine contains at least11 nitrogen atoms and has a number-average molecular weight (Mn) of at least500. An independent claim is also included for preparation of the inventive graft copolymer by reacting polyamide pre-polymer with polyamine. The polyamide pre-polymer comprises polyamide-forming monomers.
