The device produces a spatial image using systematic directionally selected and defined unidirectional beam paths with light emitters (2) generating pulsed focused light. One or more light emitters is combed with an actuator to form a base element. A defined number of base elements is combined to form a functional unit or image bearer surface (8). The emitters are mounted on a bearer plate with a crossed gimbal for omni-directional deflection.
