A crank drive mechanism sensor has at least one force sensor mounted on a pushrod for measurement of a pushrod force, at least one measured value transformer (4) for contactless transfer of a force sensor (1) measurement signal, and a phase-angle sensor (3) for determining a crank angle of a crank (5) joined to the pushrod (2). At least one force-sensor (1) is a strain (extensometer) sensor, specifically a piezoresistive or capacitive strain-sensor or a surface-wave component. More specifically, the strain-sensor is a vapour-deposited, high-temperature foil strain-gauge.
